I completed the M. Mus. in Choral Studies in 2012; this program that strengthened my long-standing desire for musical education to feature prominently in the growth of all young people. My course was both practical and research based; I studied the art of choral conducting while also learning music editing skills and observing and working with the choir schools and chapel choirs at Cambridge. My main interests are working with a choir school program while actively performing as a singer and conductor, my hope being that my teaching and performance will lead to a more widespread interest in choral music as an art form and also music as a unique medium of communication unto itself. I currently perform with L'Académie du Roi Soleil, an early music consort I co-founded along with British organist and harpsichordist Nicolas Haigh. I also sing with the Simon Carrington Chamber Singers, a professional choir in Kansas City, MO and the St. Peter's Baroque Ensemble in Charlotte, NC.
Interests: My interests include horseback riding, hiking, and traveling; and count me in for a good pub night!
