I am passionate about connecting tourism and conservation to achieve greater outcomes for biodiversity and people. I have worked for the Cambridge Conservation Initiative, as an Associate Lecturer in Responsible Tourism at UQ Business School, an independent auditor for Ecotourism Australia and am a Director of Wildlife Wonders, a social enterprise. My research areas include ecotourism, responsible tourism, tourism in developing economies and destination stewardship. I have been a technical advisor for various Australian and international ecotourism projects. With Ecotourism Australia, developing the world's first ecotourism destination certification for protected area management agencies and for the Government of Vanuatu, developing Vanuatu's Tourism Accreditation Program.I was an external collaborator of the United Nations World Tourism Organization working on best practice ecotourism within the Asia Pacific region.
