Class of 2020 announced

The Gates Cambridge Trust is delighted to announce our Class of 2020.  Seventy-seven Scholars have been selected from thirty different countries and biographies of the Scholars-elect are below.  Eighty per cent of the scholars-elect will pursue PhDs and their subjects range from the impact of climate change on coastal birds to indigenous rights in New Zealand and the moral basis of identity-based harm.  You can find the full announcement here. These new Scholars will be joined by five students who had to defer their place from the 2019 class and their profiles are also included below.  For media enquiries please contact Mandy Garner on news@gatescambridge.org and for questions about the programme please email info@gatescambridge.org.
