My doctoral research at the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance will focus on the low-carbon energy transformations of China and India. Through my research, I hope to improve policymakers’ understanding of the challenges and benefits associated with the clean energy transition in these two countries in order to inform future policy design. I will also work on the Economics of Energy Innovation and System Transition project, helping to assess the impacts of different decarbonization policy instruments on environmental and social as well as innovation and competitiveness outcomes in China, India, Brazil, the UK and EU. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, playing the piano and chess. I am so grateful to have been selected as a Gates Cambridge scholar and look forward to learning from my peers about the myriad of important problems and passions that inspire their research.
