Biography

I am an Associate Professor of Finance at Korea University Business School (KUBS). Prior to joining KUBS, I was at Sungkyunkwan University (2023-2026) and Hanyang University (2015-2023). I began my academic career while completing my military service as an army officer, teaching cadets at Korea Military Academy (2012-2015). My main research interests are mutual funds, insurance, and other institutional investors. I also research various topics in ESG and financial intermediation. My works have been published in top finance journals including the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies.
