Johanna is currently the Policy Director for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Global Health based in London. She recently completed her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge funded by the Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Her work focused on the aetiology and feasibility of hypertension control in Uganda through the use of a potassium-rich salt substitute. Previously Johanna worked as Lead of Information Management for the National Chlamydia Screening Programme. She also holds a an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham.
