I graduated from Stanford University in 2013 where I studied mathematics, computer science, and creative writing. I started as an undergraduate at MIT, where I devoted much of my time to entrepreneurial ventures. Later, I became interested in pursuing science as a means to further entrepreneurship. I then began to focus my time on research at MIT's Department of Brain and Cognitive Science, where I worked on the Human Connectome Project. I was also involved with research at the MIT Media Lab, the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and Stanford's Secure Computer Systems Group. After MIT, I came to Stanford University and later became an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, and conducted research on cancer genomics. In my spare time, I enjoy reading poetry, power-lifting at the gym, and playing pickup basketball. I'm thrilled about the opportunity to do the PhD in Biological Sciences at Cambridge.
